Green Motion United Kingdom - FRAUD!!!! Rented a car for 170€ and ended up being forced to pay twice plus invented parking penalty charge notice
We rented a car in Glasgow two months in advance traveling from Germany. When we returned the car after two weeks the Green Motion employee told me the company that we booked the car with (Atlasoption) went bankrupt so they have the authority to charge us with the amount that we initially payed because they didn't receice the money from Atlasoption.
We tried to argue that this was not our fault and requested explanation why we are supposed to pay twice. They replied they had out credit card information and will keep the deposit otherwise and that we're supposed to contact Atlasoption for refunds. *** as we were and not wanting to miss out flight we payed the charge. We're still trying to get out money back, my credit card provider said there is nothing we can do as we signed the authorisation.
A week after I receive an email from Green Motion telling me that they charge 84 GBP for a parking penalty charge notice with no evidence of the parking penalty whatsoever, stating that we got the ticket at a LIDL in Dundee, a city we haven't even been AT ALL, not even passed! They also passed our details to the company that is going to contact us for paying the actual ticket, the 84 GBP is only for their admin charge. I can't believe the audacity of this company.
WORST car rental company!! I am so pissed!!!!
Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
