Having received no response from Green Motion, I contacted my credit card company. They made a request for Green Motion to provide documentary evidence supporting the charge. Within a few days of this, Green Motion admitted the charge was unjustified and issued a full refund.

Earlier this week I returned a car to Green Motion and was told there were two new dents and I would be charged £220. The "dents" (which they said were in the rear wings and had been caused by other drivers opening car doors and knocking my vehicle) were NOT visible to either me or my two daughters.
Nor was it possible to feel any dents. I photographed the areas to see if this showed any damage - it did not.
My credit card was charged £220.80 on the same day. As yet, my £400 excess has not been returned.
